Creator Affiliate Terms
These terms cover the VirWave creator affiliate programme (the “Programme”). By applying at affiliates.virwave.com, you agree to them. For creators in the United States the Programme is run by VirWave OAM, Inc.; for creators everywhere else, by VirWave OAM UK Ltd (company no. 16698073) (together, “VirWave,” “we,” “us”).
1. Who can join
- You are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- You can live in any country except those under comprehensive UK or US sanctions (currently Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Syria, and the occupied regions of Ukraine). You must be able to receive payment by PayPal or Wise.
- Your content is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children. VirWave is for people aged 13 and over; do not promote it as a product for children.
- We review every application and may accept or decline it at our discretion.
2. Your code and links
Once approved, you get a creator code and links that credit you:
- App link:
virwave.com/ref/YOURCODEsends people to the App Store or Google Play and credits you when they subscribe. - VirWave Breathe for Claude:
virwave.com/breathe/connect?ref=YOURCODEshows people how to add Breathe with your code built in. When they then get the app from Breathe’s “Get the VirWave app” link and subscribe, you are credited.
3. Commission
You earn commission on paid VirWave subscriptions from people you refer. Commission is a percentage of net revenue: the price paid, less the app store’s fees and any taxes.

- The tier you reach in a month applies to all your commission for that month.
- A referral counts when the person starts a paid subscription within 30 days of using your link or code.
- You keep earning on that person’s renewals for as long as they stay subscribed, while you remain in the Programme.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse the related commission.
4. Payment
- We pay monthly, after a 30-day hold following the end of each month, by PayPal or Wise to the details you give in the portal.
- Creators in the US are paid in US dollars (USD) by VirWave OAM, Inc. Creators everywhere else are paid by VirWave OAM UK Ltd, in pounds (GBP) or US dollars (USD); PayPal or Wise convert to your local currency and may charge a fee.
- US creators: before your first payment you must give us a completed IRS Form W-9. We issue Form 1099-NEC where the law requires it.
- You are responsible for your own taxes. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of VirWave.
5. Disclose every post
Tell your audience, clearly and upfront, that you earn commission. Hidden or buried disclosures are not allowed.
- United Kingdom: follow the Advertising Standards Authority’s rules (CAP Code). Label posts with “#ad” or “Ad” at the start, where people see it before they engage.
- United States: follow the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides. Use a clear disclosure such as “#ad” or “I earn commission from VirWave,” in the post itself and in videos, not only in a bio or link.
- Everywhere else: follow the advertising and influencer-marketing rules where you live, and always label posts with “#ad” or your local equivalent at the start.
- Use each platform’s paid-partnership label as well, where it has one.
6. What you can and can’t say
- Do share your honest experience, in your own words.
- Don’t make medical or clinical claims. VirWave helps people practise calm; it does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Avoid words like “treats anxiety” or “cures panic attacks.”
- Don’t present VirWave as an app for children or families with young children.
- Don’t use spam, fake reviews, paid search ads on VirWave’s name, or misleading claims about price or features.
- Don’t refer yourself, your own accounts, or people paid to sign up.
7. Your content
You own what you make. You give VirWave a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reshare, embed, and quote your VirWave posts, with credit to you, on VirWave’s own channels. Paid advertising using your content needs your separate agreement.
8. Suspension and ending
- Either of us can end your participation at any time.
- We may suspend or remove you, and withhold unpaid commission earned through the breach, if you break these terms or we detect fraud.
- Otherwise, commission you have earned up to the end date is paid on the normal schedule.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will email you about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing in the Programme after that means you accept them.
